Aleksej Grischtschenko (Russia)

Aleksej GrischtschenkoThe russian film-maker and media artist Aleksey Grishchenko was born 1980 in Novosibirsk and is now living in Moscow.

By his anthropological studies and activities as designer he came to visual art. Since 2005 Grishchenko's work is ranged between design and artistic projects in photography, animation, installation and graphic while his futur focus lies on film.
Grishchenko participated in the 1st Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art 2004/05 where he assisted among others the artist Clemens von Wedemeyer for his film Otzed (Leaving).
Most recent recognition he gained with some design works, including a logo for the community of the Moscow Cinema Museum and a film about its closing process.
